(suomi) Philip Thörn is Assistant Director for the Climate and Sustainable Cities Unit and Head of the Policy and Economy Group at IVL. Philip has functioned as project team leader for several projects on urban sustainable development, including the Mistra Urban Futures pilot project “A City Structure Adapted to Climate Change – Scenarios for Future Frihamnen” in Gothenburg and the Vinnova project “Sustainable and attractive suburbs” which was implemented in Alby, Botkyrka, and investigated the needs, demands and expectations regarding sustainable development in urban districts with limited economic resources, He was also project team leader for the project “Climate Change Adaptation at the local level in Botkyrka”, which analysed how the municipality of Botkyrka will be affected by climate change and presented a local climate change adaptation strategy. Philip has broad knowledgebase in the field of sustainable urban development, climate and energy and experience of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary work.
